FERNOX INTRODUCES TF1 OMEGA FILTER: SMALL, SMART, SIMPLE- ENGINEERED TO BE THE BEST

Fernox has released its first high performance, nickel-plated brass filter for the domestic heating market – the Fernox TF1 Omega Filter. Combining a powerful, Neodymium magnet with Hydronic Particle Separation (HPS) technology, the filter is able to capture market-leading levels of system debris to deliver the ultimate in system protection. The TF1 Omega Filter also offers flexibility, with the option of installing the device onto horizontal or vertical pipework in both flow directions, and with the choice between valves or a slip socket connection.

For over 50 years Fernox has pioneered innovative water treatment and equipment for the plumbing and heating industry. The TF1 Omega Filter is the latest addition to its extensive product portfolio and filter range. High quality and precision engineered, the filter comes with an impressive 25-year body parts warranty. Ideal for installations in restricted areas, this small and smart filter protects vital heating components against damage from circulating debris found in domestic heating systems.

The filter combines the strength of a powerful, bespoke Neodymium magnet with Hydronic Particle Separation (HPS) technology, a unique method of cleaning that optimises flow trajectories and enables particles to settle at the bottom of the filter. As such, the TF1 Omega Filter is capable of extracting market-leading levels of system debris; retaining them safely for rapid, easy removal. The result is an exemplary level of boiler protection and optimised system efficiency.

The TF1 Omega Filter has been designed to help reduce installation time and provide ultimate flexibility. Ideally fitted onto the return pipe to the boiler, the filter can be installed horizontally or vertically on 22mm and 28mm pipework in both flow directions, and maybe positioned at a 45° angle if required – making it fast to install even in confined or awkward spaces. Additionally, the TF1 Omega Filter is supplied either with nickel-plated high-quality valves, or slip socket connection to offer installer choice .

Cleaning the TF1 Omega Filter is a fast and mess-free process which can be done in situ, with no need to remove the lid or dismantle the unit when extracting dirt collected by the filter. This innovative product also offers the additional benefit of dosing water treatment chemicals via the filter, in less than 30 seconds using the Fernox Express range.

“Our dedicated research and development team continuously examine how we can advance filtration technology to help maximise the efficiency and reliability of heating systems,” said Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director at Fernox. “The TF1 Omega Filter really is a next generation brass filter that is capable of market leading levels of debris collection and retention.”

It is crucial to remember that a filter works best when used in combination with high quality chemical water treatments. The new Fernox Filter Fluid+ Protector combines the tried and tested formula of Fernox Protector F1 with a unique active dispersant to continually detect, lift and deliver system debris to an inline system filter such as the TF1 Omega Filter. Together, the products protect the life of the boiler and prevent the formation of further scale and corrosion within the system.
