Fernox Water Quality Test is a paperless, smart phone driven, postal laboratory service that provides a diagnostic check of five key water quality criteria to guard against the causes of central heating problems. It gives recommendations, as necessary, on how to treat the system in order to restore efficiency and optimise the life of the boiler and system.
The Water Quality Test is a simple and cost-effective method to ensure an adequate level of inhibitor is present and to check if there is any cleaner residue left in the system after flushing, which could accelerate the formation of corrosion in a system.This test only identifies if Fernox Cleaners and Protectors have been used. Fernox is unable to comment on correct cleaning and dosing of competitor products.Sample information is submitted via the Fernox Water Quality Test App for the ease, speed and convenience of the user. Simply fill the bottle with system water, download the Water Quality Test App (available on Android or IOS platforms) to submit the sample details and return the sample bottle in the Freepost envelope provided. Users only register once to access the App and receive status/ progress notifications, including Pass or Fail confirmation, via their mobile. Full test results report will be emailed and available to view via the Fernox portal.
