Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 is an enhanced inhibitor incorporating dispersant technology which provides excellent corrosion protection, limescale inhibition and pH control in HVAC and light commercial heating and cooling systems. Designed for use with one of the Fernox commercial range in-line system filters or similar, this unique inhibitor package includes an active dispersant which aids the safe collection of corrosion debris, scale and other system contaminants via a filter. This innovative formulation extends system life and maintains optimum efficiency. Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 is compatible with all other Fernox commercial products and is suitable for use with all materials and metals commonly used in heating and cooling systems, including steel and aluminium. One 10 litre product treats up to a 2000 litre system at a dose rate of 0.5%.
This product should only be used on systems with an in-line system filter fitted, such as a Fernox TF1 Omega+ or a Fernox TF1 Delta. The recommended in-use concentration of the product is 0.5% and treats a 2000 litre system. Fernox Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 10L can be introduced into systems via a suitable point such as a dosing pot. To ensure speedy dispersion, partly or completely drain down and introduce Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 10L whilst refilling. We recommend that untreated systems are thoroughly cleansed and flushed using Fernox Cleaner F3 10L before treating with Fernox Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 10L, as existing debris can damage the installation. Concentration should be checked regularly using the Fernox Express Inhibitor Test and topped up, if necessary, for maximum protection.

Fernox Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 is classified as non-hazardous, but as with all chemicals, keep out of reach of children. Do not mix with other chemicals. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
