FERNOX SPONSORS THE INDUSTRY’S BEST AT CIPHE APPRENTICE AWARDS

Offering all current plumbing, heating or engineering students working towards NVQ/SVQ qualifications the chance to win £500, the CIPHE Apprentice Awards celebrate the hardworking young people entering the sector.

There are three awards categories open to applicants to demonstrate their expertise – heating, plumbing and work undertaken that was specifically of value to an elderly or vulnerable person – with no restriction on apprentices applying for more than one category.

Reviewed by CIPHE adjudicators, Tracey Richardson and Tony Kite, award-winning entries will also be based on photographic evidence and lecturer, employer and customer testimonials, with winners declared at November’s special luncheon in London.

Committed to supporting plumbing and heating installers’ development, Fernox recently opened its CIPHE-approved status training centre – based in Woking, Surrey – which received a £1.5million investment.

Francine Wickham, Fernox Global Marketing Director, said: “At Fernox we’re continually striving to push the boundaries of best practice and support the continued professional development of the installer and engineer community. By sponsoring the CIPHE Apprentice Awards, we hope to encourage and reward the latest generation of installers, whilst highlighting the long term benefits of chemical water treatment and filter technology for domestic central heating systems.”
